Molly + Billy Christ the King Wedding : Wimbish House Atlanta Photographer

I am so excited to share this beautiful wedding with you! Molly and Billy got married on a beautiful Saturday at Christ the King Cathedral in Atlanta, GA. The traditional Catholic ceremony was followed by a night of dancing and food at the Wimbish House. Molly and Billy are the sweetest couple ever and their day was a reflection of friendship and love! So many people came from all over to witness these two getting married!

They met in the fall of 2013 while both starting at a new job in Roswell, Georgia. Billy had recently moved to the area and had been working for a few months before Molly started, he was more than happy to help train the new girl on her first day. They had an instant connection! One of their first dates was to see the Christmas lights at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Since that first year, it has now become a fun holiday tradition for the two and Molly thought no different of going again on December 23, 2016 and then celebrating her birthday after with family. She realized it was so much more than that when Billy proposed by a beautiful Christmas in the middle of the gardens, they celebrated with family and close friends after at a surprise engagement party planned by Billy.

When I asked Molly what her favorite memory was from the day, she said, “Everything! We were so honored and happy how many family members and friends traveled to celebrate our wedding day with us and we loved every minute of the day from our beautiful ceremony to dancing all night with all of our favorite people around us!”

Molly wore a pearl bracelet that belonged to one of her grandmother’s and carried a rosary that belonged to her other grandmother and a personalized handkerchief from the groom’s grandmother. I love it when brides’ include these special family heirlooms in their wedding day.
