Maria + Jeffrey Graduate Athens Wedding : Athens, GA Wedding Photographer

Maria and Jeffrey got married on a beautiful day in Athens, GA. They got married at The Graduate Athens, which is one of my favorite venues in Athens. Jeffrey and Maria met through mutual friends at a time when neither were quite ready to date. Over time their friendship grew into love! It was wonderful watching them at the wedding and the love they have for one another!

Here is Maria’s story of how the two love-birds got engaged: “One of the things we’ve always loved to do together is travel and explore new cities. We had been out to Denver a couple of times to see my younger sister (shout-out to Megan!) who lives downtown, and decided it was time to take Elly with us. So we planned a trip to go in April 2017. While Megan and I were busy planning fun things to do while we were there, Jeffrey had a completely different agenda! He was busy scheming, and ring shopping 🙂 Eventually he let my sister in on the plan, and they continued scheming together about how he would find the perfect opportunity to Pop the Question! After being derailed a few times, Jeffrey and Megan planned an impromptu photo shoot. Megan asked if I would take a few pictures of her handsome puppy, and Jeffrey asked if Megan would return the favor and take our picture. He handed Megan the camera, and that was the last time we posed together as boyfriend/ girlfriend! He immediately got down on one knee and asked if I would spend forever with him!”
